Course description
The course provides an introduction to lifeworld phenomenological research. The course is dealt with theoretical starting points for a lifeworld phenomenological approach as well as methodological consequences for empirical pedagogical research. Lifeworld phenomenological research is distinguished from other phenomenological directions in both theoretical and methodological terms. Design and implementation of empirical research is discussed.

Entry requirements
For admission to the course, the doctoral student has to be registered as student in the third cycle.
Selection
The number of participants is limited to 15. Priority will be given to doctoral students within the Educational sciences if the number of applicants for the course is exceeding the number of places.
