Course description

Longitudinal data analysis, i.e. repeated measurements, is of central interest in many areas of research, e.g. in psychology. The aim of the course is to present and evaluate statistical models for analysis of data from longitudinal designs by using advanced statistical techniques such as multilevel modeling (MLM) and structural equation modeling (SEM). This course gives an overview of both MLM and SEM approaches to evaluating change. The course will involve hands-on projects in which PhD-students have the opportunity to analyze their own data or data provided in class.
