Course description

The aim of the course is to provide knowledge about different types of quantitative research methods in social work. To be able to explain, discuss and critically review quantitative research based on in-depth knowledge. Univariate, bivariate, multivariate as well as dimensional analysis are dealt with. The course consists of a number of lectures, seminars and practical computer exercises.

Entry requirements

In order to be eligible for the course, the applicant must be admitted to a third-cycle programme in social work or another related subject.


Priority will be given to doctoral students within the Faculty of Social Science if the number of applicants for the course is exceeding the number of places.
